daisybutter's giveaway prize!

Thank you so much Michelle from Daisybutter.com! After a long crappy day i returned home to find a little parcel in my bedroom and i went crazy happy. I won all this in her giveaway back in April and everything is even prettier in real life. The I Love Crafty ring is super cute and original and i really liked that it came in that little box (perfect for long shippings). I can't say enough how happy i am and i'm really excited to try all these make-up. I've heard a few things about MUA cosmetics but since i live a little far away shipping is never cheap. Gané todo esto en un giveaway en Abril y todo es incluso más lindo en vivo. El anillo de I Love Crafty es hermoso y original y me encantó que viniera en esa pequeña cajita (perfecta para cuando el shipping tiene que recorrer tantos lugares). the storm

This weekend we had a huge storm here. Cold, rain and, above all, wind. But it think it's over now. Still i managed to do a little winter shopping as you can, it seems that nothing can stop me. My favorite piece is that bear hat because i've been wanting it for weeks! I know it's stupid and childish but i don't care #lookatallthefucksigive. It was also a good opportunity to do my university projects for this week so i think we can say that the rain made me quite productive.

Este fin de semana llegó una tormenta aquí. Frío, lluvia y, sobre todo, viento. Pero creo que ya pasó. De todas formas logré hacer unas cuantas compras invernales ya que parece que a mí nada puede detenerme. Lo que más me gustó fue el gorro de oso porque lo he estado observando de hace semanas y por fin pude tenerlo! Se que es tonto e infantil pero no me importa #lookatallthefucksigive. También fue una buena oportunidad para hacer algunos trabajos para la universidad así que podríamos decir que la lluvia me hizo productiva.

As winter is approaching, taking pictures is more difficult. The days are short, when it's windy my skin looks washed out, when the sun is out it looks too orange, etc. And the neon pink isn't helping lol. I got inspired by this pin and if you want to try it it's super easy. You can either do it with your nail polish brush or using scotch tape (like i did).

Mientras más se acerca el invierno más difícil es sacar fotos. Los días son cortos, cuando está nublado mi piel se ve más pálida, cuando hay sol todo se ve naranjo, etc. Y les rosado fluor no ayuda en nada. Me inspiré en este pin para hacer este nail art y si les gusta es muy fácil de recrear. Pueden hacerlo con el pincel de su esmalte o usando scotch para ayudarse (como hice yo).

maybelline color show: 40 new nail polish colors!

The other day i was looking for the color name of the Maybelline lipstain that i mentioned on my last post so the obvious place to look for it was the Maybelline website. I didn't it but what i did find was this amazing new nail polish line called Color Show that consists on 40 colors!!!! I nearly screamed because i love Maybelline (good quality + low price = ♥) but i own every nail polish i like from the Colorama line and the fact that they only bring a reduced selection of colors to Chile wasn't helping my obsession. I really like how this collection looks so pro and with a large variety of colors that seem to be pretty in real life. They're also bringing this to another level because if you click a nail polish it takes you to an outfit that would look pretty with it and also other colors that match (accent nail anyone?). You can also see items that feature colors of some of their nail polishes in this Pinterest board. I'm like truly impressed with Maybelline! I really hope that i can get my hands on every single bottle but since i'm still waiting for the Bouncy Blushes i'll probably will have to wait for them for another year lol. What are your thoughts? Do you have your eye on a color?

El otro día estaba buscando el nombre del color del lipstain de Maybelline que mencioné en mi último post así que el lugar más obvio para buscarlo era la página de Maybelline. No encontré el nombre pero lo que si encontré fue esta nueva colección de esmaltes llamada Color Show que cuenta con 40 colores!!!! Casi grito porque Maybelline es una de mis marcas favoritas (buena calidad + precios bajos = ♥) pero tengo todos los esmaltes que me gustan de la línea Coloroma y el hecho de que traigan a la Chile muy pocos colores tampoco ayuda a mi obsesión así que por supuesto que estaba feliz. Me gusta mucho como esta colección se ve tan profesional y con una gran variedad de colores que al menos por lo que se puede ver prometen ser lindos en vivo también. Están llevando esto a otro nivel porque si le hacen click a algún esmalte esto los llevará a un conjunto que combina bien con ese color y además te muestra otros tonos que combinan con él (perfectos para aquellas que como a mi les guste pintarse alguna uña de otro color a las demás). También pueden ver este board de Pinterest donde presentan algunos esmaltes y artículos del mismo color. Maybelline me tiene muy impresionada! Espero poner tener en mi poder cada una de estas botellitas porque me encantaron pero si consideramos que sigo esperando los Bouncy Blushes (que en USA lanzaron como en Diciembre) tal parece que tendremos que esperar mucho aún por estos. Cuales son sus pensamientos acerca de esta colección? Algún color que les gustaría tener?

Last friday a drugstore was having 20% off on all make-up so i decided to buy a couple of things i've wanted for ages now. Even though i didn't buy a lot i'm still poor as a rat now lol. Oh well! Girl problems!
El viernes pasado había un descuento de 20% en todo el maquillaje en una farmacia así que aproveché de comprar unas cuantas cosas que quería hace tiempo. Aunque no compré demasiado igual quedé pobre como las ratas. Problemas de mujeres!

This was the main reason of all this. If you don't now, i have a little manicure business and i didn't had a single french tip top coat. I personally don't really like them but they're so freakin popular with moms. I bought three of the ones they had in Essence: pink and white shimmer and a basic rose.
Esta fue la principal razón por la cual fui a comprar. Por si no lo saben, tengo un pequeño negocio de manicure y no tenía ni una sola botella de top coat para francesa. Personalmente no me gusta mucho este diseño (soy más alocada para el nail art) pero es muy popular con las mamás. Me llevé tres que tenían en Essence: rosado y blanco con brillo y un rosado básico.

Blush and it's brush ;). I'm not a blush person but i thought that this one was a really cute color to start.

Maybelline Lipstain in Cherry Pop. I have to admit that i didn't really liked the first one i bought of these (i i guess that a lot of people too because they're discountinued in the US) but now i'm totally ok with them. I was looking for a nice bright red and i hope that this one works.
