wishlist: forever 21 edition

Yesterday I went on a quick trip to Santiago and got to do a little bit of shopping. BUT that's for another post (probably tomorrow) because this one is for my wishlist of Forever 21 things i'll be on the look out when i go to Orlando on February. I'm as existed for going to Disney as i'm of shopping like crazy lol things are so much cheaper there!

Ayer fui de paso por Dantiago y pude hacer un poco de shopping pero eso es para otro post (quizás mañana, quizás no jajaja no confíen en mi) porque este es para mi wishlist de cosas que buscaré en Forever 21 cuando vaya a Orlando. Porque sí, iré a Orlando y Miami en Febrero y podría morir de lo feliz que estoy. Me emociona tanto Disney como comprar como loca xD.

★ I've been looking for pattern leggings everywhere where i live and no luck. I really hope i can find cute ones (like the ones in the picture) because i have a ton of shirts and no pants or leggings to wear them with lol. My body is weird. ★ The same as the leggings, i don't buy pants that are uncomfortable so i have like 1 pair. I need a lot of new ones quickly but i want to wait for these ones.
★ Yo no se que pasa aquí pero llevo buscando leggings con diseño por mucho tiempo y hasta ahora nada de suerte. Los pantalones ya no me gustan mucho por comodidad y tengo millones de poleras y nada para usar debajo jajaja. ★ Jeans pitillos o jeggings... lo mismo, muchas poleras nada con que usarlas. Soy muy complicada para los jeans porque tienen que ser MUY cómodos así que espero tener más suerte allá de la que he tenido acá.

★ I lost (or got stolen) my favorite "leather" look-a-like jacket and i'm dying inside lol. It's such a perfect basic that can be used with anything. My life needs a new one. ★ I depended so much in that lost jacket that now i have like 1 lol. So a few "less basic" ones will do good for my closet. ★ Pullovers and skinnies are my go-to outfit! I loooove them! Forever 21 is full of beautiful ones (of course the Disney themed ones are my favorites).
★ Todavía no se si perdí o me robaron pero la cosa es que mi chaqueta favorita ya no está en mi vida y la usaba SIEMPRE. No era de cuero ni por si acaso así que tampoco busco eso ahora pero si algo que lo parezca. Si no tienen una así las recomiendo mucho porque de verdad para mi es LA chaqueta básica. ★ Dependía tanto de esa chaqueta desaparecida que ahora tengo como 1 xD. Suerte que es verano. Así que estaré también en la búsqueda de algunas no-tan-básicas. ★ Para esos días flojos en la U mi outfit favoritos son siempre pitillos con polerones. Me encantan! En Forever 21 hay millones de polerones hermosos con diseños y si fuera por mi me los llevo todos jajaja (sobre todo los de Disney!).

★ Wedge sneakers are not everyones cup of tea, i know, but i really like them. They make you look casual but gives you that little height that i need so much lol. ★ I'll probably buy something like this here because i REALLY need them to go out at night on those days that i'm too lazy to wear heels. ★ I've seen a lot of outfits that have statement necklaces with shirts (under the collar). I have a ton of shirts now but i haven't found a single necklace here.
★ Me consta que las zapatillas con taco no son para todo el mundo pero si para mí jajaja. Me gustan porque se ven casual pero me dan esa extra altura que tanta falta me hace. Y agreguémosle que en USA valen como un tercio de lo que cuestan aquí. ★ He visto montones de outfits donde las niñas usan collares cortos y grandes debajo del collar de las camisas y me encanta. Tengo varias camisas ahora así que solo falta una cosa ;). Además que Forever 21 debe ser EL lugar para accesorios lindos y baratos (claro, la calidad no es fabulosa pero no se puede tener todo).

summer vacation wishlist

On december i'm going on a two weeks vacation to Ecuador with my friends and i'm sooo excited! I haven't gone on real vacations in like ten years. I won't have time to do vacation shopping properly when i finish my classes so i have to be very organized in order to get everything i need in advance. My list is huge but here are a few of the most un-boring ones:

1. Beach bag: I'm really hoping that i can find a pretty bag that is big enough to work as a beach bag and also a carry on to use on the plane. Strangely, the harder part is going to be to found one with a zipper lol. I don't really like the ones that don't close, so easy to loose something.
2. Straw fedora hat: I have hats and they are... in a box. I love how they look but i always forget to wear them lol. Still, i think that if i'm going to a beach having a light weight hat would be a very good idea. It's the half of world after all. 3. Denim shorts: Can you believe i don't have a pair of denim short??? Jeans are very uncomfortable for me so i'm trying to find a pair that i will really wear (something like a jegging like of short).
4. Sony Cybershot DSC-W630: It's not just words i swear! I'm really saving up for this one! My camera is way to big and heavy to carry around so i want to buy this new one. It also has HD video which is a HUGE plus for me because i love recording.
5. Sunglasses hard case: Like the only actually useful thing here lol. Sunglasses are a most and if i don't to destroy them on the first day i will need a hard case. I hope i can find one at Aldo because i've seen such pretty ones there.
6. Light crossbody bag: In "light" in referring to a light color like beige probably. This is were i'll carry my stuff around in and i want a light neutral color that matches all my outfits.

En diciembre iré de vacaciones por dos semanas a Ecuador con mis amigos y no podría estar más emocionada! Creo que no he tenido vacaciones reales desde hace 10 años. No tendré tiempo de hacer mis compras vacacionales porque saldré justo de clases para irme así que tengo que ser extra organizada para tener todo listo antes (entre trabajos finales + eso sería mucho). Mi lista es enorme pero aquí hay algunas de las menos aburridas:

1. Bolso de playa: Espero encontrar uno lindo que pueda servir también para llevarlo como bolso de mano en el avión. Extrañamente creo que la parte más difícil será encontrar uno con cierre xD. No me gustan nada los que no se cierran, la gente no entiende que así las cosas se salen y se pierden parece.
2. Gorro fedora de paja: Tengo algunos gorros y están... en una caja xD. Me encanta como se ven pero siempre olvido usarlos. De todas formas creo que me vendría bien uno delgado para escapar un poco del sol. Es la mitad del mundo después de todo!
3. Shorts de jeans: Pueden creer que no tengo unos??? Es el básico de los básicos. Pues hay una razón. Los jeans a mi me incomodan mucho y eso se extiende a los jeans (están hechos de lo mismo) así que quiero encontrar unos cómodos que de verdad usaré (una versión jegging hecha short).
4. Sony Cybershot DSC-W630: Juro que esto no es solo palabras! De verdad estoy ahorrando! La cámara que tengo es muy grande y pesada como para llevarla a todos lados (y no llevaré el iPhone) así que quiero invertir en esta. Además graba en HD que un plus gigante para mí.
5. Funda dura para lentes de sol: Creo que esto debe ser lo único realmente útil en esta lista xD. Lo lentes de sol son un must y no quiero romper los que lleve al día así que necesito una carcaza dura. Espero encontrar alguna en Aldo porque otras veces han tenido unas muy lindas.
6. Cartera cruzada clara: Aquí llevaré todas mis cosas para todos lados. Quiero que sea un color claro, como beige, para que combine con todos mis outfits y así solo tenga que llevar una.

pre birthday wishlist

My birthday is next week (the 18th! YAY!) and i decided to put together a few things that i would auto-gift myself if i had a lot of money lol. Next year i'll save some money... maybe.

Mi cumpleaños es la próxima semana (el 18! YAY!) así que decidí juntar algunas cosas que me auto regalaría si tuviera mucho dinero xD. El próximo año ahorraré algo de dinero... tal vez.

Royal Blue Skinny Jeans: This is the only thing from the list that i'm determined to buy! I've seen lots of outfits with them and they all look so amazing. I think it's a cute twist to the average denim blue jeans. EDIT: I wrote this yesterday and now that it is today (omg the present!) i already bought a pair... oops! I'll show them soon because i think i'm in love.
Micro DS Card: Boring but i really need one for my Nintendo 3DS because the one that came with the R4 is only 2GB and the gamer inside me needs more space.
Lush I Love Juicy: I have wanted something from Lush for the longest of time but to be honest i think that the prices are simply crazy. But if i had all the money in the world i'd love to have I Love Juicy. I read that it's good for oily hair and that's exactly what i need.
Spirit Camera: More 3DS stuff. I know, i'm nerd. I've watched my brother play Fatal Frame 4 a couple of times and is the scariest but coolest game ever! The story line is freaking amazing. Spirit Camera seems to be a sidestory of that and even though i'm a coward i can't help to think how amazing it would be to play it in 3D.
Mario 3DLand: An oldie in my wishlists. I still don't own a 3D game and this one is probably the classic of classics of Nintendo.
Brown Riding Boots: I already have an eye on the ones i want. Winter isn't totally here yet but i remember how freezing cold was last year and these would help me with that. I love how they look with skinny jeans and oversized sweaters or hoodies.
Oversized Sweaters: Well, i already gave a spoiler of how i wanted to use them lol. I'm the biggest fan of being comfortable and hoodies were my best friend for university but now i'm loving sweaters and i think they look a little bit more stylish.

Pitillos Azul Rey: ¿Se llaman pitillos en otros países? No lo se, pero bueno, son skinny jeans. Esto es lo único que estoy determinada a comprarme! He visto varios outfits con ellos y son hermosos! Además creo que son un lindo giro al clásico azul de denim. EDIT: Escribí esto ayer y ahora que es hoy (omg el presente!) ya compré un par... oops! Pronto los mostraré en un post porque creo que estoy enamorada.
Tarjeta Micro SD: Aburrido pero de verdad necesito una para mi Nintendo 3DS porque la que tengo es la que venía con la R4 que es solo de 2GB y el gamer que tengo dentro necesita más espacio. Lush I Love Juicy: He querido algo de Lush porque muchísimo tiempo pero para ser honesta creo que los precios que tienen son una locura. Pero si tuviera todo el dinero del mundo me encantaría comprar I Love Juicy. He leído/escuchado que es bueno para pelo graso y eso es exactamente lo que necesito.
Spirit Camera: Si, más cosas para el 3DS. Lo se, soy nerd. He visto a mi hermano jugar Fatal Frame 4 unas cuantas veces y es el juego más malditamente terrorífico y genial! La trama es fantástica. Spirit Camera parece que es como un sidestory de eso y aunque soy una cobarde no puedo evitar pensar de lo genial que debe ser jugarlo en 3D.
Mario 3DLand: Un invitado frecuente en mis wishlists. Todavía no tengo ningún juego en 3D y este creo que debe ser el clásico... es Mario! Como no serlo!
Botas Altas Café: Ya tengo mi ojo puesto en las que quiero. El invierno todavía no llega totalmente aquí pero es difícil olvidar lo frío que estuvo el año pasado y estas serían una gran ayuda para eso. Me encanta como se ven con pitillos y sweaters o polerones grandes.
Sweaters Grandes: Bueno, creo que ya di un spoiler de como quería usarlos xD. Soy la mayor fan de andar cómoda y los polerones son mis mejores amigos para ir a la universidad pero ultimamente he estado amando los sweaters y creo que se ven un poco más estilosos.

fall 2012 wishlist

Even though the days here are hotter than ever we can't stop the fact that soon we'll be freezing cold. This is a small wishlist of things i'd love to add to my wardrobe to wear during those few that i can layer clothes and not hide them under a coat.

Aquí los días están más calurosos que nunca pero es inevitable que pronto estaré congelada quedándome del clima helado de nuevo. Esta es una pequeña wishlist que hice de cosas que me gustaría agregar a mi closet antes de tener que taparlo todo con un abrigo.

my christmas wishlist 2011

No one in my family (not even Santa lol) is a millionaire so i probably won't be getting any of these things but i can dream. I also love seeing other girls wishlists so if you posted one give me the link :).

Mac Book: WHAT?! lol My laptop is a piece of crap and since i study graphic design that's not a good thing at all.
iPhone: This will always be in my wishlist because i'm sure i'll never have one because they're so freaking expensive! But i love them! Any model works for me but my favorite is the 4S in white (obviously!).
Slippers: The one thing that i'm going to get because i'm going to buy them for myself. Not the ones in the photo but i hope that i can find a pretty pair (anything is better than my old ones that where attacked by spiders D:).
Lady Million gift Set: Have you ever seen a prettier bottle? I think i only want it to decorate my room lol.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD: I have all the other movies and of course i need this one ;). It would't kill me if someone also buys me a blu ray or a 3D tv lol.
Mario 3D Land: Since i bought my N3DS i haven't played a single game in 3D because i don't have the money to buy one lol. It would be nice to see the wonders of 3D.
Manicure Suitcase: The institute where i have my manicure classes sell this lovely pink suitcase that would be really helpful when i go to work.
Owl Bookends: Super random, i know! These awesome bookends are by Laura Ashley (my favorite interior decoration store!) and would look perfect to hold all my books in my room.
Bloodlines by Richelle Mead: I'm a HUGE Vampire Academy fan and i feel the need to read this spin-off. I read the first chapter online months ago and i think i'm dying lol. Oh and fyi, i read this kind of books in english because i buy them from Amazon. I don't really like reading in spanish... i'm weird.

my summer wishlist

I can't remember any other year that i have wanted summer to come more than this one. I'm sick of the cold weather! So to get in the mood i prepared a little wishlist of some things i would like to have this year. Fortunately my summer wardrobe isn't as bad as my winter one (probably because you have to use more clothes).

Cute Maxi Dress: Yeah, cute is kinda the key word here. I used to hate maxi dresses but this year i'm thinking of giving them a try. I have never found (in my whole life!) one that i like so i'll keep my eyes open.
Denim Shorts: Probably a must-have for every season since you can dress them up or down... BUT i don't have one! The two shorts i have are way too big for me now and the only pair that fits me it's a black one. I found one in an online store that is only 4USD so i think i go for it.
Black Sunglasses: This is a very sad story so prepare to cry lol. The fourth time (yeah, fourth!!!) my car was broke down and the idiots stole everything inside, they took my black sunglasses. They're a HUGE basic but this time i want a model that is more original than my old wayfarer ones (i'm bored of how popular they became).
Mermaid's Tears: I'm sooo buying this nail polish! The collection took forever to arrive to my country but it's here and i want this one. I'm waiting though to go to a place where i can buy it for 8USD because in my city it costs 12USD (not a BIG discount but it's something when you don't have any money lol).
Sequin Outerwear: I wanted to write there "cardigan, jacket or whatever" but it was kinda long lol. I think that something like this would be perfect for going out at night with a simple dress. I only have one other tank top full of sequins and i love it with all my life (i feel super sexy while wearing it!) so i recomend everyone to get something similar.
Brown Loafers: This has been in my wishlists for ever! I still haven't found a cute pair and for a good price but I WILL.
Summer Wedges: Well, they're not only for summer but i look at this type of shoe and i inmediately think of hot weather. They have them now in a lot of stores where i live so i hope that i can buy them before everyone has the same idea.

shopaholic friday

1. Skechers Shape Ups: For the gym i'm wearing this really old sneakers that i used to PE class back in school when i was like 14!!! It seems like an eternity. I don't really care about going pretty to the gym because it's just not the right place but this sneakers are really pretty and promise to do a lot of things that are probably not true but i still want to believe they are. I always tell my mom and friends that i want them because i want to have Kim Kardashian's butt.

2. Ipod arm band: We're full of exercise things today! I haaaate having to carry around the gym my iPod in my hand just because the pants don't have pockets! People don't think when they make clothes.

3. Black Bodycon Skirt: I think this should the a basic in every girls closet... i basic i don't have! I found a cute one today but i didn't have the money so i guess that soon i'll go back for it.

4. Brown Loafers: This is more of a summer shoe than winter but because of that i may be able to find one a little bit cheaper. If i found one! The only pair i've found so far we're ones from Topshop that cost like 100USD!!!! They were really pretty but i don't think this type of shoe is that expensive to make so i'll keep looking.

5. Brown Lace Up Booties: I only have black boots so this isn't something i want, is something i need. I'm in mad love with this type of bootie and i saw them in the store where i won the gift card so cross your fingers so that they don't sold out.

6. New cell phone: My old Nokia 5530 is driving me crazy!!! I ended up hating hating touch phones so i'm really looking forward to buy one with qwerty keyboard. Blackberries are too expensive for me so i hope i can find a pretty and good one like that Samsung I5510 (i would feel just like a Gossip Girl!).
